Selected Reviews:

I’m hesitant to write a review for this book because I’m not an expert. My field is electronic health care record (EHR) development. I decided to read this book out of general interest, and to gain a greater understanding of the clinical background for he applications work on. I found it extremely engaging (if not a bit overwhelming at times), and yet surprisingly accessible t a reader with only general chemistry and some basic organic chemistry. I was especially interested the mechanism of actin sections, which really helped to bring some rhyme and reason to drug interactions and adverse reactions. I thought the sections on kinetics were excellent, and I quite enjoyed the historical context provided throughout the book. I’ll be rereading this text after I do some additional background reading.

A bit repetitive, but well laid out. Would have loved an appendix that had all the medication charts listed in the chapters.
